Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 6, 2026. This policy explains what the NAIROBII Membership by Galaxvend (https://galaxvend.us) collects and why.

What we collect.

• Account details you give us when you join: your name, email address, date of birth, and optionally a phone number. We ask for your date of birth as part of your member record at sign-up.
• Request details you submit: what you ask us for (stays, housing, experiences, logistics), your messages in the member area, and the details you share so we can handle the request.
• Payment details are handled by Stripe, our payment provider. We never receive or store your card number — Stripe processes the $20/month membership payment and shares with us only the status of your subscription (active or not).
• Usage data collected automatically, described under Analytics and Affiliate tools below.

Analytics (Google Analytics).

Our site uses Google Analytics (tag ID G-MLCHJH0KFL) to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, how long people stay, roughly where visitors are, and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser for this. We use it to improve the site; we don’t use it to advertise to you or to build advertising profiles. Google handles this data under its own terms — see Google’s Privacy & Terms and how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can opt out with Google’s official browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Affiliate tools.

We’re part of travel partner programmes, and we use scripts from our affiliate networks that help us earn commission when visitors explore or book travel through links on this site. One comes from Travelpayouts, and one comes from Impact (Impact Radius), our affiliate network for hotel and resort programmes. They run on every page: they see which pages you view and which travel links you interact with, may set their own cookies, and may present partner links in a trackable form so bookings can be attributed to us. They don’t change the prices you’re shown.

Cookies.

We use three kinds: essential cookies that keep you signed in to the member area (no essential cookies are set for visitors who only browse the public pages), the Google Analytics cookies described above, and one simple first-party cookie that helps us count unique visitors. We also keep basic usage records in our own database — pages viewed, the page that referred you, your approximate country, and device type — to understand and improve the site. These records stay on our own servers, contain no advertising cookies, and are never shared or sold.

Who we share with.

• Stripe — to bill your membership.
• Our hosting and data providers — the site runs on Vercel (hosting) and a managed database provider; they process data on our behalf to run the service.
• Google Analytics — usage data as described above.
• Travelpayouts (our affiliate network) — click and link-interaction data when you engage with travel links, so referrals and bookings can be attributed to us.
• Partners and providers — only when you ask us to arrange something: if your request means a resort, transfer or ticket provider serves you, we share only the details needed to fulfil it. We introduce you; your relationship with that provider is your own.

We never sell your information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Email. We email you about your membership, your requests, and service matters. We don’t send third-party advertising. Every email comes from us and you can ask us to stop by replying or emailing galaxvend@galaxvend.us.

Your choices. You can request a copy of your details, corrections, or deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing galaxvend@galaxvend.us. Cancelling your membership doesn’t require a reason and never affects your right to these requests.

How long we keep things. Your account and request records are kept while your membership is active and for as long as needed to operate the service or meet legal duties. Analytics data is retained by Google per their standard retention.

Security. The site runs entirely over HTTPS. Payments are processed by Stripe (PCI-compliant); we don’t handle card data.

Children. Membership is for adults 21 and over, and we don’t knowingly collect data from children.

Changes. If this policy changes, we post the new version here with a new effective date, and email members if the change is material.
